Head Coach Andy Fox
14 National Elite Girls Coach
Coach Andy has been involved in the volleyball community as both a player and a coach for the past 35 years. During this time, he has refined a unique and successful approach toward developing coaches and athletes alike. Coach Andy currently head coaches the 14 National Elite Girls team at a volleyball club near Atlanta, GA where he also serves as the Director of Coaching and Development and on the Board of Directors.
Coach Andy’s experience as a volleyball player began in middle school, through high school, and culminated collegiately at Division II Concordia College. As an athlete, he learned first-hand what training and developing athletes should and should not be. After college, Coach Andy began his coaching career at a small private high school in the Bronx where the foundation of his coaching philosophies were born. Teaching fundamentals and discipline while maintaining a high-energy, fun experience for the athletes and parents became the core of his program. Additionally, his organization and attention to technique were paramount to the early successes of his teams.
Volleyball has changed greatly over the last 25 years, and Coach Andy has thoughtfully developed his program, How To Up Your Game, to stay ahead of the curve. Coach Andy is highly involved with the development and training of future leaders both on the court at the Volleyball club where he coaches and in the business world where he mentors eager new leaders. His passion and desire to contribute inspired him to partner with his wife, Alyssa, and begin HowToUpYourGame.com– a coaching resource for youth coaches and clubs and an athlete resource for youth volleyball players and their parents.
